International Day of Living Together in Peace 2025; May 16th

FORUM: “Unity in Diversity: Building a Culture of Peace Through Dialogue and Collaboration.International Day of Living Together in Peace 2025. Heritage, education, culture, social reconstruction and scientific cooperation are truly invaluable cornerstones of peace; a step forward in any one of these areas helps to bring people a step closer together. Collective commitment and solidarity are indispensable in this effort to bring together humanity. Dialogue paves the way for reconciliation, to moving from a divided past towards a shared future. We need a globalization of solidarity and compassion instead the normalization of division and hatred. We need a new narrative to address the current global context. One that is people-centered focusing on the vulnerable. We need to rebuild trust and restore solidarity. On May 16th, participate in discussions to find the ways to promote reconciliation to ensure peace and sustainable development; To recognize, respect and appreciate each others’ cultures and diversities and to transform relations among communities affected by conflict. EVENT: On May 16th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the United Nations Headquarters, Conference Room 7 in New York City, NY will be held the celebration of the International Day of Living Together in Peace 2025 under the theme ''Unity in Diversity: Building a Culture of Peace Through Dialogue and Collaboration;''.

The COJEP International and A Time for Truth Foundation welcome you to celebrate the “ International Day of Living Together in Peace. This day for humanity was established by the United Nations General Assembly through Resolution A/RES/72/130 in 2017; A day dedicated to promoting peace, tolerance, inclusion, understanding, and solidarity among individuals and nations, which serves as a reminder of the universal aspiration for peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and reconciliation. In 2025, observance gains particular urgency against the backdrop of rising global conflict, polarization, and environmental challenges that threaten humanity’s shared future. In this context, COJEP International and A Time for Truth Foundation, will convene a high-level forum at the United Nations Headquarters in New York to amplify voices for peace, intercultural dialogue, and global partnership. The conference will celebrate this day by fostering multilateral cooperation among humanitarian, scientific, governmental, and civil society actors to uphold and advance fundamental human rights, including freedom of spiritual and religious belief. 

The forum seeks to address key issues, including:

  • Protection of fundamental human rights, particularly the freedom of spiritual and religious belief 
  • The role of structured, accessible education systems in promoting peaceful coexistence 
  • Integration of quantum science to enhance global communication 
  • The importance of maternal and family stability in addressing human rights challenges, religious decline, and global crises such as drug abuse, terrorism, and armed conflict 

Furthermore, the Summit will reaffirm commitments to justice, equality, and well-being of communities worldwide, contributing to the advancement of the United Nations' humanitarian mission and the sustainable development agenda. 

Event Overview: This year's gathering aims to present key findings from global initiatives and foster multilateral cooperation among humanitarian, scientific, governmental, and civil society actors. Through the collaborative efforts of the COJEP International and A Time for Truth Foundation , the summit will address global challenges and work toward advancing justice, equality, and peace.

Discussions will focus on: * Protection of fundamental human rights * The necessity of inclusive, well-structured education systems * Leveraging quantum science to improve global communication * Addressing human rights violations and global crises through family stability.

By reaffirming our collective commitment to justice and equality, the forum will contribute directly to the advancement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16.

We are committed to protecting fundamental human rights, including spiritual and religious freedom, education, family stability, and technological advancements that promote global communication. Our efforts support justice, equality, and well-being while fostering partnerships aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. The Global Forum will bring together leaders and experts from various fields to share research, findings, and strategies for addressing key global challenges. Through collaboration, we aim to drive meaningful progress toward a more just, informed, and sustainable future. This gathering provides an opportunity for interchange between distinguished leaders, high-ranking government officials, youth coalitions, healthcare professionals, scientists, athletes, diplomats, representatives of non-governmental organizations, media professionals, and national artists. Through these conversations, we aim to build a sustainable world of peace, solidarity, and harmony.
