Colombia is the host country of the International Moon Day Main Event, the world's leading celebration dedicated to promoting international cooperation, science outreach, and knowledge about lunar exploration. Bogotá serves as the meeting point for researchers, representatives of international organizations, space agencies, experts in space law, science communicators, and the general public. Maloka Museo Interactivo will host this special event, connecting Colombia with the global conversation on the present and future of lunar exploration. Register to participate!
The IMD Main Event 2026 will take place in Bogotá, Colombia on July 20, 2026, at the Maloka Museo Interactivo. The event is being organized by the MVA National Coordinator in Colombia, Francisco Forero, in collaboration with a dedicated team from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. The IMD Main Event will be broadcasted live in this page and on the IMD Youtube Channel.
